Parent Kid Books about motherhood

What is motherhood?

A mother is the biological or social female parent of a child or offspring, while the male parent is the father. The maternal bond describes the feelings the mother has for her (or another's) child.

In the case of a mammal such as a human, the mother gestates her child (called first an embryo, then a fetus) in the womb from conception until the fetus is sufficiently well-developed to be born. The mother then goes into labour and gives birth. Once the child is born, the mother's breasts produce milk to feed the child.

In non-sexual organisms, "mother" can sometimes be used to mean "parent"; in the case of single-celled organisms that reproduce by fission, the mother is a cell that divides to produce "daughters".

Mothers typically have a very important role in raising children, and the title mother can be given to a woman other than a biological parent who fills this role. This is most commonly either an adoptive parent or a stepmother (the wife of a child's father). The term can also refer to a person with stereotypical traits of a mother.

Miracle - Let's talk about babies...
I love Anne Gedes work...always love it and when I heard that my favorite singer, Celine Dion, was going to work with her.. I was in Heaven! I was glad that I could to get to know more about Anne's work...'cause here in Brazil it's not easy to find something about her, her products.. etc. So, that book- Miracle- was a great gitf I gave to myself! :) The DVD showing the making of the book is simply amazing!!! Celine was very touched by the babies... she LOVES babies! Those pictures taken by Anne are priceless! It's a beautiful work!
Miracle mom!!
I love this book not only because my child is featured in it with celine, but because it is so beautiful. Every baby in this book is under 6 weeks old. Completely new in this world, and 100% pure! So beautiful and wonderful. Celine being in this book made it that much more incredible. If you dont own an Anne Geddes book yet I suggest this one as the begining of your collection.
A Waking Fever Dream
Much as Samuel Taylor Coleridge's legendary "Kubla Khan" managed to somehow capture transcendant extrasenory experiences with the written word, this groundbreaking combination of photos of infants dressed up as foodstuffs and earshattering vocal crescendos left me grasping for a fleeting glimpse of an artistic ideal. If you have, like me, been searching for the intersection of cutting-edge Franco-Canadian symphonic arrangement and adorable baby pictures, than you, like Coleridge, have found your artistic pleasure dome -- all without the damaging side effects of opium consumption that so plagued the Romantic poets of that earlier generation of transcendent -- and now, demonstrably lesser -- artists.
WHAT A BOOK/CD/DVD COMBO AND DON'T HAVE WORDS TO DESCRIBE IT
Also don't believe the bad reviews on here.
A Stunning, Marvelous Combination of Words, Music, Pictures
Miracle is a good title for this book as it celebrates a new life. I don't think that those of us who have been through the experience of having a child could look at this book without realizing the miracle that takes place when a newborn comes into the world. And as strong as it is for a father, it must be even stronger for a mother.

The other word that I find for this book is magic. I suspect that the teckie in me says that this is what you would get from combining good photography and photoshop. In fact I had wondered just what the photoshop special effects would be used for. Now I know. It's to produce magic.

This is an absolutely wonderful book. Then you combine the music with the words and pictures and you have truly marvelous. I have not been aware of either the photography or music of these artists, now I shall have to find more of each.
