Parent Kid Books about fatherhood

What is fatherhood?

A father is traditionally the male parent of a child. Like mothers, fathers may be categorised according to their biological, social or legal relationship with the child. Historically, the biological relationship paternity has been determinative of fatherhood. However, proof of paternity has been intrinsically problematic and so social rules often determined who would be regarded as a father e.g. the husband of the mother. This method of the determination of fatherhood has persisted since Roman times. The historical approach has been destabilised with the recent emergence of accurate scientific testing, particularly DNA testing. As a result, the law on fatherhood is undergoing rapid changes. In the United States, the Uniform Parentage Act essentially defines a father as a man who conceives a child through sexual intercourse.

Makes a good greating card
This reads like a nice greeting card but if you are looking for some insight on father/daughter relationships don't buy this "book". Each page contains only a sentence or two and a nice photo. This would make an excellent gift to the new father so I guess it has some value.
Great Book for New Dads!
Best 'new dad' present I've seen in a long time...also would be great for single dad's or those who have limited time with their daughters!
Beautifully done!!
I believe children need two parents. This book describes simplicity in a very moving way. I have a three year old daughter and am recently divorced. I purchased this book for my ex. I think daughters who bond with their fathers from birth, have no deeper love in their youth, than that of their father. I am pleased with the way Greg portrayed the little things to which are important. This book has opened our eyes as to what is most important, our baby girl. Regardless of our feelings towards eachother, we must team parent her, to accomodate her feelings. Thanks Greg, little things matter!!!!! 10 stars!
Oh this book is full of lies....
This other book was no better then the Mother/Daughter one. Again they list the 100 reasons, which seem cliched and misleading at best. No book can ever list the reasons why parent/child releationships work. and you certainly can not limit it to 100 reasons, nor a million reasons. You do not put a number on it.
A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY DAD!!!
This book is filled with explanations of what a dad should be. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my husband and put pictures of my daughter and her daddy together.
Excellent reading, short and to the point.
