Parent Kid Books about fatherhood

What is fatherhood?

A father is traditionally the male parent of a child. Like mothers, fathers may be categorised according to their biological, social or legal relationship with the child. Historically, the biological relationship paternity has been determinative of fatherhood. However, proof of paternity has been intrinsically problematic and so social rules often determined who would be regarded as a father e.g. the husband of the mother. This method of the determination of fatherhood has persisted since Roman times. The historical approach has been destabilised with the recent emergence of accurate scientific testing, particularly DNA testing. As a result, the law on fatherhood is undergoing rapid changes. In the United States, the Uniform Parentage Act essentially defines a father as a man who conceives a child through sexual intercourse.

Reviews:

Very funny and with heart
I was looking for a book for my husband who is just getting used to the idea of us getting pregnant. I didn't want a manual with all kinds of overwhelming facts and scary stories....I wanted something lighthearted that he could relate to and see that he isn't the only guy in the world not knowing what to do with the whole situation.
This book was perfect. I read it and was laughing out loud which I never do. It was a fast easy read with a lot of heart.
awesome
I just got this book for my boyfriend as an early christmas present. I read it in one setting. It's awesome. Funnier than h***. Good for any new dad or mom.
top notch - funny and touching
Michael Crider is a top notch comedic writer whose flair for making fun of the absurd is rivaled only by his ability to connect with the reader on a personal level. His hysterical tale of going from carefree yuppie to nervous new father is one that will withstand the test of generations, as it is universal in its relatability. Of the very few bad reviews I've read, the reviewer often misses the point that this is a funny breath of fresh air involving a situation that is often taken too seriously. Would someone as huge as legendary comedian Sid Caesar gush over this prose if it was nothing short of brilliant? Not likely. Well done, Mr. Crider.
What a waste
This is the worst book I've read in a long time. Crider makes it clear this is just his opinion - but should you listen? His idea of a joke was pretending to throw his baby down a hallway in front of his wife. While he's contrite in the book about the incident, I say no thanks to his advice. Reads much more like a dull blog then a helpful "guide." As for comic relief? What sections were even remotely funny? For those of you who desire to actually learn something I highly recommend another book.
Hilarious
Great Book! Very easy read. It's spoken from a man's prospective to pregnancy & is funny yet insightful!
